Total Control was founded by owner Chad Newton to provide riders with true custom tuned suspension. Newton started riding in 1979 at 4 years of age and racing soon followed. In 1994 Newton got his pro license and was having success as an "A" class rider on the local level. Racing thirty plus weekends a year with national riders he realized the importance of proper handling suspension. The fastest bike was no good when the tracks were rough if it didnt handle well. Having a mechanical background and degree in machining technology the vision to develop custom tuned suspension was clear. Being a pro rider himself and being great friends with some of the Southeast top riders, testing and developing settings became a full time routine by day while doing machine work at night. After a few years of great results and a wealth of knowledge Total Control was ready to offer what Newton had learned to every rider that wanted true custom tuned suspension. No generic charts or assembly lines, all suspension is custom tuned to meet the riders individual needs and requirements. The goal is to provide the rider with suspension that will allow them to be faster, safer, and more confident. Our technical understanding of suspension and extensive "real world" track testing delivers a suspension that is plush and predictable. 

Over the years we have grown from a small local shop to providing riders all over the world with superior suspension, yet our dedication to performance and quality remain the same. We strive to keep that small shop feel with customer service and satisfaction being the #1 priority. Word of mouth and great relationships with our customers have been the key to our success and we would like to thank each and everyone of you for the continued support over the years!
